Dear PhD Students and Postdoc Researchers,
We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the 4th edition of the Scientific Conference organized by the Doctoral Schools of “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați (CSSD-UDJG), on 2nd and 3rd of June 2016, in Galati.
With this occasion, our institution aims to promote excellence in research within a broader framework of interdisciplinarity, to set up partnerships and collaborative relationships in related fields through the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
In line with the aim of our multidisciplinary conference, we will also like to bring together young researchers and internationally and nationally specialists in view of emphasizing the impact of scientific research on the knowledge based society of today. The general theme of the invited plenary talks of in this edition of the conference is "Challenges and New Approaches for health in the 21st century".
The new strategic approaches of smart governance for health include the health and well-being as key features of a successful society and economy, bringining to life the saying: “If the 20th century challenge was all about adding years to life, the 21st will be about adding life to years”.
Like in the previous editions, the conference invites oral and poster presentations in seven concurrent sections related to the main domains of doctoral research at UDJG. Workshops, exhibition stands and social activities are also included in the programme, all with the aim of developing and improving the network of the doctoral schools.
This edition receives the financial support of the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research (MENCS)-Direction of Higher Education Funding.
